This is either a letter to a reindeer or the gay dude that hangs out at the trendy coffee shop in town. Either way, I want to hang out with him. And I'd like Audrey to show me how to fly, too.
We better get this lesson scheduled kinda soon. Christmas is approaching and we don't want Prancer dangling like dead weight from the sleigh. (Love her use of the ? in her second request)
Btw, my nickname in college was Prancer. I don't want to talk about it.
I like the I "will" teach you how to fly and then the non-committal "maybe". Seriously, a better raindeer might come along. Good to keep her options open.
Geez Audrey. Be more decisive! WILL or maybe? SOON or in a little bit?
As a former teacher, it is obvious that they have been working on punctuation at school. Kids are always excited about the intonation and sentence structure that goes with!?, and.
This is awesome!! I would keep her away from high places though, just to be safe. I love how it sounds like Prancer is almost annoying her, begging her to teach him to fly and she is trying to put him off for a while. She must be a busy girl, training all those raindeer!
@lebelinoz: In my comment, I didn't actually say I attended or graduated college. Rather, whenever I was on a campus (any campus), the Sorority Sisters all called me Prancer. I was young. I needed the money for rent and pizza. Don't judge me.
Lynn, I bet this is exactly the direction you thought the comments would take when you posted Audrey's lovely (and well written) card earlier today.

ReplyDeleteAudrey never ceases to make me giggle!
ReplyDeleteI think you should be concerned about the fact that she is evidently hiding an ability to fly from you.
ReplyDeleteThat is adorable!

hehehe, brilliant! You know, her writing is lovely, so neat and easy to read:) Prancer should be honoured :D Jen
ReplyDeleteI would love to learn how to fly.
ReplyDeleteThat would make everything more magical this season.
Fit her with a parachute and block all exits to the roof.
ReplyDeleteI'm with the others. Put some lead in those shoes! ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat's the matter? Did you ever really doubt Audrey's ability to fly? :)
ReplyDeleteI think that she may be over-estimating her arm-pumping/hand-flapping capabilities.

::Dying from laughter:: I love the question mark at the end - Just give me a minute Prancer, maybe if you're good I'll show you in a minute?
ReplyDeleteOk, what does this child know that we don't?
ReplyDeleteHas she been hangin' out with Tinkerbell?
I love Dani G's comment! LMAO!!
Endlessly charming child
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing that!
ReplyDeleteIt brought a much needed smile and laugh.
Audrey hasn't been getting into your stash, has she?
ReplyDelete@bigdaddyautism: you went to college?
ReplyDeleteThis is way too cute. Has Audrey seen the movie Prancer?

Yeah, maybe in a little bit, right now I've got stuff to do around the house?
ReplyDeleteAfter Prancer's done with his lessons, I'd like to sign up for one!
ReplyDeleteThis struck me as so freaking funny. I'm sitting here laughing and Deaf kid is next to me:
ReplyDelete"Funny? What funny? I not already seen it?"
Look at that penmanship! This is some seriously funny stuff, thanks for bringing the lolz!
