Call 1-800-L8R-2DAY every day after 4:00pm CST to hear a scintillating recap of Audrey's day, (completely inaccurate) gossip about her classmates, and desperate pleas for pastries.

  2. That sounds like every phone conversation I have ever had with my wife. I'm hoping to get a cupcake later today. Or today later. Whichever.

    My wife agrees that Audrey is the cutest thing ever and she wants her. How much for the kid? I'll grab my checkbook.

  4. She has either developed her own "This is Peggy" commercials or is training for a future in customer service. Polite, but non-productive. That's how all my calls to customer service go. Audrey will be promoted quickly and this should give you reassurance about her financial security.

  7. @Anonymous: There wasn't actually anybody on the other end (awesome imaginary play!!!?) but it makes sense that Noni might have been the desired audience.

    @BigDaddy: So what's a convenient place to meet in between? Atlanta? See you in the morning.

    @Kathy: Great idea! I feel so much better now. Audrey could do at least as well as the non-English speakers on the other end of those customer service calls....

  17. So I'm at the urgent treatment center with Alex who decided to turn on the ceiling fan and jump on the bed & I turn on this clip of Audrey and she's all, "cake, cake, cupcake" & his bloody head is looks up all, "where? Where?"

  18. Is it a bad sign that I had a boyfriend who ended phone conversations just about the same way?!? Audrey is a hell of a lot cuter though! And I want in on the auction of her - she can answer all of the bill collector phone calls I receive and have fun with them for me! I pay in cupcakes! Later today OR today later, whichever she prefers!!
