Name, Rank, and Serial Number

Audrey received one of those coloring placemats at a restaurant recently, which also happened to be an entry into a contest that requested some basic information about the artist.

She didn't bother coloring the picture, but regardless felt it her duty to give them her deets:

AGE:  Best
PHONE:  Rodery

So much for me bragging about her savant-like spelling abilities.  But for reals, what 7 year old even knows that there used to be such a thing as rotary phones to misspell it?

  13. Does Stanley's Kitchen & Tap even have CFGF menu options? What in the world were you doing in a restaurant whose mascot is a chicken wearing sunglasses and Converse high tops? This better not be the type of place you take me when I visit this summer. I might have to dine exclusively with Aimee.

  23. LMAO!! I Love this- funny, I was just saying the other day that I don't think my kids have ever even seen a phone with a cord on it!

    I use to think waiting for the dial to spin back after each number on our old rotary phone was so satisfying (I liked the noise) but I also wasn't in much of a hurry as a six-year-old...it would probably bug the hell out of me now.
