Audrey loves to take pictures with my iPhone and digital camera. I've been known to not pay 100% attention to what she's doing when she's playing with these, especially with the iPhone, hence the
echolalic text "conversations", self-composed social stories,
wacky voice memos, and
thigh-cam videos that I find like hidden treasures in my phone after the fact.
Her photography is particularly sublime. She likes to take extreme closeups of random objects in repose. Behold...

"Hey it's me, Mickey! Why don't you tight asses get a new TV already?
I'm so blurry I could be hosting a "10 Most Fascinating People" interview." |

She was so proud of this one

I LOVE these! Audrey has such a fun perspective for her subject matter! You should totally include them as a bonus section in your book :-)
ReplyDeleteLoving these! It reminds me of the photo treasures we get on our camera out of nowhere lol.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, these are great. You should do an entire scrapbook of these!
ReplyDeleteI love anyone that takes pictures of cake. She's a girl after my own heart...and diet.
ReplyDeletehilarious
ReplyDeletelove that child
Awesome. We have a similar problem...only it usually ends with a picture of someone sitting on the toilet.
ReplyDeleteThese are great! My son always seems to shoot pictures of my fat rear end as I'm bending down whenever he gets a hold of my camera. Apparently, I bend down a lot.
ReplyDeleteSo hilarious. Most of my photo gallery on my phone is filled with pics like this. Love that Audrey does it too.
ReplyDeleteMy son does this too...I find abstract shots of the car floor, the corner of the laptop, or an extreme close up of a shoe. Art or madness??? Who cares? it's all genius XXX
ReplyDeleteits an Art form *grins*
ReplyDeleteSo like some of the stuff I might take photo's off
My daughter definitely has this in common with Audrey! She loves to take really bizarre pictures, but has a great eye, and the photos come out great! She also likes to take pictures while watching movies at home.
ReplyDeleteAudrey has a knack. You should get a camera for her. You can get some pretty inexpensively!
Jaylen does the same shit. All these close ups like he is making a damn, what could this be book that I used to order when I taught elementary school science. Hmmmm...maybe there is some money to be made here...
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome photos - except for the puke-fest one. I want to be a bit confused by that photo or else I think I might have to go have a pukefest of my own.
ReplyDeleteBtw - love that she texted the pillow to Lauren - she must have been rofl!!
haha Brian does this all the time with my camera, I was actually thinking about doing a post like this!
ReplyDeleteYou have some weird crap around your house.
ReplyDeleteI love her perspective and seeing the things that catch her interest enough for her to want to take a picture of them! I think she needs a camera of her own - perhaps one of those kids ones to start. You could have a whole new book here - how Audrey sees the world!
ReplyDeleteThese are great. That last comment almost caused a little puke-fest around here though.
ReplyDeleteAs a photographer/photo teacher, I give Audrey rave reviews. My favorites are the cake and the "loves funny." Have her give me a call if she'd like more in-depth camera instruction.
ReplyDeletePS-We have an "old skool" tv like that too. No shame in that.
I had to laugh at this. My son has literally taken over 2,000 pics on my phone, and we had to disable the camera on the iPad so he would stop obsessing. He takes pictures of almost the same thing every time - fans and lights, which we already knew he is obsessed with. Some self portraits of himself and his twin, a few of me. But mostly fans and lights, repeatedly. His favorite thing to do on the iPad was turn on the rainbow effect in Photo Booth, point it at the fan, and watch it spin . Voila - spinner toy! I just don't have the time to delete it all..
