Chocolate because it is yummy.
Jack because he is a good friend.
Cartwheels because they are good.
Mom because she loves me.

R's list is simplicity itself - he is thankful for mom and dad and his computer and his phone :-)
That last part is the best of all. Mine wrote he loved me because I make Mac and Cheese with the cheese in a separate bowl. No lie.

Sounds like a perfect gift. My kid used to say turkey every year, and that's it.
ReplyDeleteNow that he has figured out the direct relationship between sucking up and the amount of swag he receives as gifts, he is thankful for family.
