Watching Baby Mozart
I like to watch Baby Mozart.
In Baby Mozart I don't like the puppet dog.
I only like Maria.
In the castle toy,
I like the egg sound.
I cannot like the boo boo boo sound.
In the castle toy, I like the yellow ball.
I cannot like the other colors like the green ball, the blue ball, or the red ball.
When I am not on Youtube
I can go to Google.
When I am not on Google
I can go back to Youtube! :)
I like the fruits, pets, dolls.

What was she crossing out, a social story? Saying, screw you CHOICES, I can watch all these things whenever I damn well please!!!!
ReplyDeleteAlso, K will probably be lecturing at Columbia on the physiology of grapes giving you diarrhea. Maybe they can room together!
Yes, she was crossing out a social story that is all about how she only gets a 1/2 hour a day on electronics. We also have a separate story about how she only gets to watch Baby Mozart at the dentist, on airplanes, and for blood draws. This is her big FU, telling me that she can find Baby Mozart on youtube and google during her 1/2 hour with the electronics. She thinks she's sooooo smart.
DeleteI, for one, think Audrey could have a brilliant career in writing! That last paragraph is almost Shakespeareesque...
ReplyDeleteTo Google or not to Google? That is the question.
Whether 'tis Nobler to Google or while away the time on YouTube
Only to Google again!
Give me youtube or give me death!
DeleteI don't think that's Shakespeare, Lynn. I think that's Patrick Henry.
DeleteI'm pretty pretty sure it was Shakespeare Jim #imdum
DeleteShe would be a kickass terms negotiator. That's what my boss does ALL DAY. He takes terms that he doesn't like, crosses them out, and inserts his own. Then he forwards them for signature! Bang. Done.
ReplyDeleteDoes that mean she's redacted my entire social story?
DeleteOMG I adore her
ReplyDeleteR could write a similar dissertation on Baby Wordsworth and Baby Santa - if he had the ability to express his ideas
My friend calls these videos Baby Autism LOL as our auties really adore these videos
She's good, isn't she? I wonder what would happen if she wrote a social story for you... ;)
ReplyDeleteI like a girl who knows what she likes and won't settle for anything else!
ReplyDeleteLove it, Audrey! I want to see her re-writes of all of her social stories. That is the best!
ReplyDeleteShe'll have to save them for her blog some day. ; )
I love how even the visuals are crossed out, as in "I don't need no stinkin' social story!" Matthew would LOVE Audry's idea...if it didn't involve writing. Social stories are sooooo last year's strategy.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! =)
ReplyDeleteDid she request that the revisions be retyped? Love it!
ReplyDeleteThat's the best thing I've ever read. Ever.
ReplyDeleteI flippin' love this. I need to hang with Audrey and learn a thing or two about being assertive. =)
