A little late, but this was among the Mother's Day gifts in Audrey's overstuffed backpack last Friday. Over the years, I've gotten a lot of stuff with hand and/or foot prints, painted flowerpots, and various cards or artwork featuring her photo. What was in your kid's backpack?

Am I not funny? Am I not a clown? Do I not make you laugh? |

My husband is still bitching about this one. COOK??? |

So adamant about the cooking that she registered a write-in vote. |

| Awwww....I do know how to make mac and cheese. |

Great. I could really use a new car too. |

I misunderstood her description. I thought it meant, pretty kind, pretty loving, pretty smart, pretty friendly and pretty happy.
ReplyDeleteI could use some mac and cheese right about now.
I wonder if her love of cake drew her to circle that answer. Ha. And I hope that is GLUTEN FREE mac and cheese.
ReplyDeleteIt almost looks like she wrote 'butlerfly,' which is even better. Too cute!
ReplyDeleteI like how she neglected to circle patient or caring in the first box.
ReplyDeleteMy boys have never described me patient in any mother's day card/letter/bullshit they gave me. Meh. It's overrated.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute! Always amusing (and sometimes shocking) to hear what our kids think about us! All in all you did good!

Pretty????? Good one Audrey!!!
ReplyDeleteshe made you an invisible car! just like wonder woman's jet! don't forget where you park it.
ReplyDeleteAwww.. love this. I actually got choked up at the mac n' cheese part. See? You do know how to cook after all :)
ReplyDelete"like a piece of cake" I can just see Audrey looking at you and you turn into a pink frosted cupcake. : )
ReplyDeleteBy the way, you are funny! At least I think so ; )
I love this so much...especially the butterfly and the yellow bit.
ReplyDeleteAm pretty sure if my fella filled this in that I'd have a Social Worker calling to me... xxx
I think TIRED would be circled by my yahoos! I say it so much 'I'm tired of you two fighting! I'm tired of your attitude!' etc.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love it when the kids fill out forms for us at school. SO fun! And I agree that she made you an invisible car. Thanks for sharing!!! :)
I love this so much, she's so cute.
